We’re talking toiletries, clothes, tech, what to bring on the plane, and more because nobody wants to finally arrive at their destination and realize…they forgot their toothbrush or deodorant.

Some of the main vacation checklist questions we have seen are:

What should you bring on vacation list?

There are loads of items you should bring for vacation. However, the essential items are:

  • Your passport (if your vacation is an international trip)
  • Your wallet with photo ID and credit cards
  • Cash in the currency of wherever you are going
  • Your prescriptions and contacts/glasses
  • A change of clothes in your carry-on (just in case your luggage gets lost)
  • Phone charger and portable phone charger
  • Toiletry essentials — think toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, dry shampoo

How do I make a vacation packing list?

While there are tons of ways to make packing lists from Excel spreadsheets to the notes app on your phone, we’ve found the easiest way to create a vacation packing list is by having BUENA help you out. WARM WEATHER VACATION

Travelling to the beach, the desert, the tropics? Firstly, take us with you! Secondly, make sure you have everything you need for a warmer climate. You may be asking what should I pack for a 5 day trip to the beach? Or what should I pack for a 7 day trip to the tropics? As much as we would like to, the reality is we can’t just show up to paradise with a bottle of sunscreen and a swimsuit and be good to go.

That’s why we have prepared vacation packing lists for warm weather. The lists in this section feature packing lists for different vacation lengths, must have items for warm weather vacations, as well as the not-so-obvious products you might need on your getaway. When packing for a hot destination, remember to keep it light! It’s very unlikely you will need much layering in humid places.

COLD WEATHER VACATION

So you’re headed somewhere with colder weather. There’s nothing like vacationing in a winter wonderland or spending the week skiing at your favorite mountain resort. However, packing for a cold destination can be difficult. It is hard to keep your luggage lean and lightweight while still fitting in all the important layers and gear you need.

Our two biggest life hacks for keeping your luggage light are to wear your heaviest clothes on the plane, and to use compression bags to bring down the size of your larger items like coats and pants. Say goodbye to overweight baggage fees!

You’ll find packing hacks like this and lists of important products for winter vacations in this section. We’ve included winter packing lists, winter essentials, winter gear you can’t forget, and more.
